I pulled from the latest release and try to build locally

curl 7.77.0 (x86_64-pc-linux-gnu) libcurl/7.77.0 OpenSSL/1.1.1g-fips zlib/1.2.11
Release-Date: 2021-05-26
Protocols: dict file ftp ftps gopher gophers http https imap imaps mqtt pop3 pop3s rtsp smb smbs smtp smtps telnet tftp
Features: alt-svc AsynchDNS HSTS HTTPS-proxy IPv6 Largefile libz NTLM NTLM_WB SSL TLS-SRP UnixSockets

Still repro for me 😐, is there any way I can match the timestamp with the verbose output to see how it matched with proxy/dst response?

I believe your problem was fixed in https://github.com/curl/curl/pull/3605
shipped in curl 7.64.1 - over two years ago!
