We've had automated tests using curl against various good and
bad ECH configurations [1] that's been running for over a year.
I think that's so far always worked as expected through various
releases of curl. The test cases are somewhat described on a
web page [2] where you see that browsers do a bit less well
than curl, which has been our general experience when testing
ECH.
