I propose to submit a number of issues, and work towards corresponding PRs
according to their significance for the DEfO project, and to my availability.
The advantages I see to this approach are that
(a) people doing other work can be alerted to possible interactions,
(b) others can work on any of the issues if they have capacity, and
(c) I can have advice from people with other experience or points of view.
