Thanks, but I don't think that's a very attractive route for us:
- it is GPL licensed, which is generally in conflict with many curl users
- gnulib is a giant in size and complexity
- if we opt for an external library, I think c-ares is a way better choice as
we already use it, we know it and I'm a co-maintainer of it...
