We now seem to be on top of the worst bugs reported on 8.12.0. The dust has
settled a bit.
I think we should do a 8.12.1 release on Thursday February 13. Please yell if
this is a problem to you.
I also mean that we postpone the opening of the feature window by one week,
and thus also shortening it so that the other dates (for feature freeze and
pending next release) remain set.
