Hello,
I'm currently working on the same issue, as I am updating the OpenSSL library from 1 to Openssl 3 in a project I'm working on.
I've peviously been using the tpm2-tss engine to validate locally issued certificate.
As of openssl 3, engines are deprecated and instead I use a tpm2 provider and the base provider when using OpenSSL.
I now also stumbled upon the issue with how to adapt using the curl library without engines.
I could not find if there is currently a solution to this issue.
Thanks and Kind Regards,
Corinna
