Re: Trying not to use LD_LIBRARY_PATH
Date: Mon, 19 May 2003 19:07:29 +0100
Hi
Thank you all, you set me on the right road...
I had to:
* ./configure -with-ssl
* Edit the Makefile, config.status, and lib/Makefile files; setting
LDFLAGS = -R/usr/local/lib -R/usr/local/ssl/lib
* Set environment variable
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/local/lib:/usr/local/ssl/lib
* make
* make install
* unset LD_LIBRARY_PATH
It now works :-)
