I don't want to crush the free spirit of enterprise here, but why
re-invent the wheel? Last time I used it, gnu Mailman was a perfectly
good mailing list manager / archiver with a user front end that allows
you to search the archives, order them by date / thread etc and last
time I checked it was all python so it installs pretty well anywhere
(sorry, I don't have a spare server anywhere at the moment, otherwise
I'd offer to build and host it). I'm sure that there are plenty of
others already out there in open source world too.
Of course, if you just want a project to get your teeth into, then
please don't let me stop you Haroon.
