I am trying to get some information/relevant documentation on
building the cURL on VMS. The install documentation
(http://curl.sourceforge.net/docs/install.html) does not have
step by step procedure for building on VMS as it does for
UNIX.

Where can I get some help? Could anyone give me a pointer
to documentation please ? I would like to use the C library
APIs to build code for a persistent FTP connection.

Also, the quote command when used with the pre-built binary
for VMS does not seem to do anything when I use it as:
--quote "type L" on my command line.
