Re: cURL 7.9.8 with OpenSSL-0.9.6g on RHLinux 7.2

OK, forget I said that... :)

I just tried this on a RedHat 7.3 box:

    rpm -e openssl-devel-0.9.6b-18
    ./configure --with-ssl=/usr/local/openssl
    make
    make test

and it built curl using openssl-0.9.6g:

    ********* System characteristics ********
    * curl 7.9.8 (i686-pc-linux-gnu)
    * libcurl 7.9.8 (OpenSSL 0.9.6g)
    * HTTPS server: ON
    * FTPS server: ON
    * libcurl SSL: ON
    *****************************************
    91 tests out of 91 reported OK: 100%
    5 tests were skipped due to restraints

instead of the RedHat openssl-0.9.6b installed rpm.

Is it likely that anything in RedHat depends on the openssl-devel rpm being
installed? I don't know, but it seemed happy enough to let me uninstall it.
