Hi All,

Im sure this is a real newbie question, but I would really appreciate someone taking the time to explain how one should go about debugging a problem like this :

rpm -Uvh curl-7.9.4-4mdk.i586.rpm produces the following output :

error: failed dependencies:
        libcurl.so.2 is needed by curl-7.9.4-4mdk

This is a common problem that I have (no with this .so file of course), and not only is it preventing me from installing curl, it is a general pain in my life :).
