It might be nice to consider a member-only posting policy to avoid this
in the future.
If I remember right, you're using Majordomo and I don't know if that's
possible.
Ever consider migrating to Mailman?

Someone apparently replied, on behalf of the curl lists, to the "remove"
address of yesterday's spam, and look at where that got us.

Rule number #1 of spam prevention:

  Never reply to spam!

As everyone can see, the very same address that just yesterday claimed
to have removed us from "all ugetmore4less.net lists" already today
sends us more spam. How come? Because the remove address doesn't remove
at all, it instead confirms the address is working, has an audience and
therefore is a prime target for spam flooding. This is how spammers
work. Thus:

  Never reply to spam!
