Hi ho friends
The other day we added paragraph 1.7 to the FAQ.
Now, I've actually been contacted by a representative from curl.com who's
concerned about our identical names, the confusion it causes and generally
asking if we have any good ways make them easier to deal with for the users.
The mail is included below, I've only removed his email address to not expose
him for anything. An interesting details is that the mail he is talking about
(as an example of a confused user), was a mail that they received asking
about libcurl! :-)
I am *very* interested in getting your views and suggestions. How would you
suggest we proceed?

We have already received correspondence from prospective users of cURL who were looking for the software you provide and have directed them to your web site. An example of such correspondence is included below. In order to avoid future confusion and to facilitate the search by customers for software that meets their needs, I would like to open a dialogue with you and your colleagues regarding how best we should proceed and cooperate in order to remedy any future potential confusion. It could be as simple as providing links on our respective web sites to direct traffic to the appropriate web site. I would like to explore any and all ideas that might be possible. How would you suggest we proceed? Thank you. bob. Robert L.
