Summary: GPF's when FTP connection terminated

Initial Comment:
Platform:
client- Win2k SP2
server- WinNT SP6 w/ IIS 4.0

I run:
curl -o file ftp://server/file
(file is a binary file, not test)
Curl begins its transfer and all is OK.
When I go to IIS management console on server, view
open FTP connections, I choose "Disconnect All".
When I confirm, curl immediately spits out garbage and
9/10 times it will GPF.
I was doing this to test how Curl handles connection
terminations.
