Ticket is not a universally known term AFAIK. I have no idea either. I looks
as if they mean cookies.

Well, it is often very easy to just do what you want with a browser first,
then follow along and do the same with curl.

What FTP? You referred to a http:// document, where did the FTP come in?

Is this a way to ask if curl supports continuation of downloads? Yes it
does. See the FAQ.
