Hmmpf, I "generated" this patch from two commits in my repository,
using forementioned branches. It's far from automatic, can't get
git to do a rebase while generating the email ;)... but well.

The big question is: does it work this way for you? I used my
mailers default settings. If necessary I can change the mime
type and/or encoding used.
