FTPS Attempt Not Using SSL

From: SuperWare Support <thesupermanager_at_gmail.com>

I have tried to adapt the ftpupload.c example to upload to an FTPS server.
I have gotten it to compile and run, but when I execute it the server is
reporting the following:

------------------------------------------------------------------------

* About to connect() to <server_name>

* Trying xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,,, * connected

< 220 Microsoft FTP Service

> USER <user_name>

<534 Policy requires SSL.

* Access denied: 534

* Closing connection #0

* Login denied

------------------------------------------------------------------------

So apparently cURL is not using SSL, but I can't figure out why. Here is my
adapted code:

------------------------------------------------------------------------

#include <stdio.h>

#include <string.h>

#include <curl/curl.h>

#include <sys/types.h>

#include <sys/stat.h>

#include <fcntl.h>

#include <errno.h>

#ifdef WIN32

#include <io.h>

#else

#include <unistd.h>

#endif

//#include "printf_macro.h"

/*

* This example shows an FTP upload, with a rename of the file just after

* a successful upload.

*

* Example based on source code provided by Erick Nuwendam. Thanks!

*/

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks,
