Thanks for your prompt.
I've rebuilt libcurl to use OpenSSL.
Not really sure why, but libcurl returned error code 7 as well,
on performing connection to the server over SSL.
The second thread got connected just fine.
Any idea why it's happening?
Just would like to note, that I'm using SSL client authentication
on the server.
