Thanks a lot. Since this breaks functionality for you I proceeded and
committed this even though there's a release pending in just hours.

TFTP is hopefully going to be reworked a bit after this release.

I figure our TFTP test cases aren't very good since they didn't catch this
problem and they run just as fine even after this fix... ;-/
