Due to this lack of feedback on this issue, I intend to just close it and
ignore it unless someone speaks up within the next 7 days.

It'll also make a good time to get a feature freeze to start at March 20 2008
(oh what a magic date that is) and then have 14 days of no new features and
only fixing up remaining bugs and aim at doing the next release around April
3.
