Definately seems to be a libcurl issue, I tried ftplib
(http://nbpfaus.net/~pfau/ftplib/), compiled it for my arm,
integrated into my app and it worked ok.

I guess I could use in in my app but now I've got a bee in
my bonnet and sure would like to get libcurl figured out.
