libcurl - 7.17.0
a) linux distributions with installed open ldap binaries and dev packages;
b) linux distributions with installed libidn
Configuration scripts ignores passed
--without-ldap, when it sees installed ldap.
The case was reported by several curl-loader users.
Attached config.log - gzipped.
Similar case were reported by users for libidn, namely,
ignoring
--without-libidn, when it sees libidn.
The result is that user of libcurl library needs to add to linking a
library, which is not of his usage.
I got lost in this configuration script, if somebody can
look at the problem, it would be very much appreciated.
Thank you.
