HOWTO Compile libcurl with the IPv6 Enabled?

I have downloaded the latest 7.12.1 source code and compiled it
using MSVC without any problem. Yet my current program needs
support IPv6, so I defined the ENABLE_IPV6, but unfortunately, I
got a lot of errors.
Can anybody kind help me with this? thanks!
