problems sending large POST requests

When sending large POST request via HTTPS, it seems that not all data
is sent to the server. Sending the same request via HTTP does work ok.
The request size ranges from 20kB to 500kB (soap). In the changelog I
see a bug fixed for " Huge (>40-60KB) GET requests over HTTPS
failed.", so maybe something similiar is needed for POST requests?
Thanks for any hints, Matthias
