I can imagine (I got this task partly b/c there were no pressing
demands for me at the moment). If any of the previous interested
parties have @apple.com email addresses, I'd be curious to talk to
them. I didn't see anything in the archives, but I might not have been
searching all eternity if my browsing context somehow affected my
searching.

Okay, I'll read up about NTLM a bit as well to see what synergies might
be had in the future.
