Also, it took me a while to figure out how to work curl-config.
Is there any reason you deviated from the syntax of gtk-config or
gnome-config?
Where
curl-config --cflags
and
curl-config --libs
handle everything you'll need?
(I notice that curl-config --libs doesn't include libcurl...)
