It may be worth mentioning that OpenSSL 1.0.2 was end-of-life at the
end of 2019. Also see
https://www.openssl.org/policies/releasestrat.html.
Are you using a Red Hat system? If so, then you might want to switch
to Fedora. Fedora does not suffer from the antique software supplied
by Red Hat and CentOS.
