Certificate required despite -k

Hello,

I am loging to a https web site with the command line

curl.exe ....<proxy>.... -k....https://website...

The proxy returns to me the following message "Your request contacted a host
which presented an expired or Invalid certificate"
(It is correct that the certificate for this server is expired)

- Why -k is not preventing this message?
- -k is syntax correct? Should -k be in front of <proxy>? does the position
matter?
- Or is that the proxy that is set up to block any data to transfer when
certificate no valid?

Any idea ?

Thanks

Michel Rigaud
