Forgive my newbishness, but I recently downloaded curl in an attempt
to connect to a sftp server. The main page suggests that sftp is
supported, but all attempts to use it result in:

Protocol sftp not supported or disabled in libcurl

I definitely downloaded the version _with_ SSL support, so what should
I do to get this to work? I don't have access to a compiler or similar
tools.
