Using curl with Business Basic: disable status messages

Hello everyone,
I want use curl as a system call from Business Basic (BBX4) and it is working really fine.
The only problem I got is, that I would like to disable all the status messages on the screen so the user sees nothing at all.
I have tried "-s" but this disables the progress meter only.
Is there any option to disable all the messages or do I have to use libcurl?
