RE: Windows 2003: problems?

I don't think it's related to Windows 2003.

I've been running a scheduled vbscript that shells out to run curl for
over a year, on my Win2003 App server. My version is curl 7.14.0
(i586-pc-mingw32msvc) libcurl/7.14.0 OpenSSL/0.9.7e zlib/1.2.2. (I guess
I should update it soon...)

My ntdll.dll version is 5.2.3790.0 (srv03_rtm.030324-2048). The script
was developed and tested on my windows xp workstation before deploying
it to the server.

Personally, I think it may be something simple here. What is your ram
usage like before you run your curl task, and what is it like when your
curl task starts? I'm wondering if you simply need more ram?

Usually "faulting module ntdll.dll, version 5.2.3790.1830, fault address
0x0002f583" means out of memory. Although there can be a lot reasons to
be out of memory, and finding the cause can be difficult.

Anyway, I think you're seein a symptom, not a cause. Of course, I could
be wrong ;)

Subject: Windows 2003: problems?

I've just moved a system from Windows 2000 (non-server) to Windows 2003,
and I seem to be having problems with curl (curl version
7.14.1):

Faulting application curl.exe, version 0.0.0.0, faulting module
ntdll.dll, version 5.2.3790.1830, fault address 0x0002f583.

Any suggestions:?
