Fetching Sequence of Files
Date: Wed, 27 Sep 2006 18:14:51 GMT
Let's say I wish to use curl to obtain five files:
http://memory.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/D$mjmtext:1:./temp/~ammem_GQ2P::
http://memory.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/D$mjmtext:2;./temp/~ammem_GQ2P::
http://memory.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/D$mjmtext:3:./temp/~ammem_GQ2P::
http://memory.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/D$mjmtext:4:./temp/~ammem_GQ2P::
http://memory.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/D$mjmtext:5:./temp/~ammem_GQ2P::
I type at the Windows XP prompt:
http://memory.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/D$mjmtext:[1-5]:./temp/~ammem_GQ2P::
What I can't firgure out is what to type next to get the sequence saved
properly in, say, C:\curl\mad\
It may be that the site serving the files serves them all with the same
name.
However, I can't get the files to save with sequential numbers.
Thanks for the help.
I'm using the command line 1.10 version.
Dave
