I should have said not just that command line CURL & Python 'will'
handle HTTPS...but that they actually 'do' so on my desktop....
where Euphoria with 'libcurl' using the SSL enabled DLL does not.

curl handles HTTPS, yes. But it needs the OpenSSL DLLs to do it.
