I'll try the OpenSSL DLL's in the same folder as libcurl.....
I see that both command line CURL and Python will handle HTTPS type
sites.....I took that to mean the OpenSSL's were where they needed to be.

... and that package _has_ a SSL-enabled .DLL included.
I guess John's problem is because he doesn't have the OpenSSL DLLs in the
appropriate location.
