Summary: null -y flag in windows gives error 7

Initial Comment:
7.10.7 win32
windows XP, but i'm sure i've seen this in other versions.

when transferring a file using the -y flag with no value the
result will always be, as far as i've seen, a connect failed
error (7), even upon a successful transfer. md5 sums were
compared to verify this. issuing any value for the flag will
prevent this. this may be an error checking problem,
because the following command produces the error...

curl http://domain.com/file.zip -y -Y 1000

but without the "-Y 1000" we get the error "option -y
requires an extra argument!"
