Maybe it's a simple DNS problem? On my computer it works:
opi:~ # curl https://secure.easy-cgi.com -v
* About to connect() to secure.easy-cgi.com:443
* Connected to 216.150.154.2 (216.150.154.2) port 443
* SSL connection using RC4-MD5
* Server certificate:
* subject: /C=US/ST=New York/L=Nyack/O=Easy
CGI/OU=E-commerce/CN=secure.easy-cgi.com
* start date: 2003-01-29 17:13:12 GMT
* expire date: 2005-02-26 17:43:09 GMT
* common name: secure.easy-cgi.com (matched)
...

but my computer reports secure.easy-cgi.com as 216.150.154.2 yours as
216.150.154.4. Do you see the difference?
