Summary: Compile fails on AIX 4.3.3

Initial Comment:
When trying to compile curl on AIX 4.3.3 ML10 we get
the following error :

ftp.c: In function `ftp_use_port':
ftp.c:1007: storage size of `ss' isn't known
ftp.c: In function `ftp_perform':
ftp.c:2016: warning: passing arg 1 of `localtime' from
incompatible pointer type
make: 1254-004 The error code from the last command
is 1.

We did configure --with-ssl --enable-static --disable-
shared --without-zlib

Compilation was done with gcc.

Anyone have any clue ??
