Option to set local file to time of remote file?

Is it possible to have curl adjust the timestamp of the file it writes
to be the timestamp of the remote file? For example, using MDTM over
FTP and the Last-Modified: header over HTTP?
I looked through the manpage but found no such option. (There's -z but
that apparently only does checking, no modification.)
Cheers,
Philip
