Using -I to find a file size on FTP server.

When using the -I option to determine the size of a
file on a remote ftp site. All works ok, but if the
file doesn't exist curl crashes under Windows. But
under Linux (Redhat), the same command fails
gracefully.
I'm using version 7.10.2. Is this a bug.?
