Summary: Configure on RedHat 8.0 doesn't work

Initial Comment:
On a new RedHat 8.0 install, I needed to manually
change lib/config.h after running ./configure by
commenting these lines :
/* Define if you have the `gethostbyaddr_r' function. */
/* #define HAVE_GETHOSTBYADDR_R 1 */

/* Define if you have the `gethostbyname_r' function. */
/* #define HAVE_GETHOSTBYNAME_R 1 */

When these lines are not commented, I get the "Can't
resolve hostname" error with both curl and libcurl.
