recap: I was getting a segmentation fault on a PHP script on:

CURL version: libcurl 7.9.7 (OpenSSL 0.9.6a)
PHP version 4.1.2
FreeBSD version 4.5-RELEASE-p4

Well, I asked the ISP to recompile PHP and such so I can do a stack trace
for submitting the bug with, but in doing some more testing, I came across
another machine at the ISP where it worked fine. So the ISP did some
playing with swapping versions and it turns out it that by downgrading PHP
to version 4.0.4pl1 and Apache to version apache to 1.3.19 appears to
have solved the problem.
