Summary: Curl does not abort on a frozen transfer
Initial Comment:
Hello again,
This time I'm reporting a recurring problem that may
be network related. However, it's evident that curl's
command line tool doesn't seem able to detect a frozen
transfer.
example command:
curl -u d_isz_r3\r3setup:r3setup -o
w:\temp\TNO\D@.TNOdata2.csar ftp://iwdf8045/
comp/mysap_ides_ibs/TNO/D@.TNOdata2.csar

Total Current Left Speed
100 815M 0 815M 0 0 68699 0 --:--:--
3:27:28 --:--:-- 0
The 'Speed' column drops to zero and stays there.
This also happens in cases using the standard Win32
FTP client. However, there appears to be no error
handling in this situation to abort the transfer in
this case. It can stay like this for days.
Thanks again.
