public domain software is ok for debian, but curl::easy has not any claim
on being public domain software, it only has a little and not debian
compatible license statement (in particular it lacks of a statement for
redistribution of source or binary, being it derived or not from the
original source).
adding a disclaimer like "This software has been placed in the public
domain" is ok for debian.
i firstly proposed gpl, but it is not the only license accepted by debian.
