Hi,

I downloaded the latest CURL package.

I expand it under my /opt folder.

As root, I enter :

$ cd /opt/curl-7.8.1
$ ./configure

==> I get :

checking whether make sets ${MAKE}... no
checking for working aclocal... missing
checking for working autoconf... missing
checking for working automake... missing
checking for working autoheader... missing
checking for working makeinfo... missing

checking host system type... hppa2.0w-hp-hpux11.11
checking for gcc... gcc
checking for C compiler default output... configure: error: C compiler
cannot create executables

An then it stops.

What do you think is wrong ?
