RE: Question with binary transferts

My solaris version is 5.6
Is there a way to get an executable file for the latest version?
I can't install any library so I failed to run the
curl-7.7.3-sparc-2.6-pkg.tar.gz

I'm very interested in the newer version, especially if it handles spaces in
paths.
