yes, data of approx 5 MB is getting send completely. Problem arises when we try to send larger data over HTTPS. While sending larger data, i could see few acks from server side as well. But later, server starts to send 'TCP Zero Window' packets, indicating it is enable to process the data that fast. On resonse, curl sends out 'TCP RST' packet, thereby terminating the connection. And throws error to client:

"HTTP request failed with error: Timeout was reached -- Operation timed out after 15218 milliseconds with 0 out of -1 bytes received, HTTP status code: 0"

for more details i am attaching the wireshark and few details are listed below:
• POST create to ‘Create Item’ was sent 14.57.33
• Opeartion Timeout is received at 14.59.784
• Nearly timeout in 15.264
• Pkt # 13720 , pk#16427
• Received ‘Zero Window’ pkt nearly after 2.79 seconds
• curl sends RST after (pkt# 16474),
- Client ip : 10.65.156.77
- Server ip: 10.76.214.123

Communication is over https.

i am working for one of the cisco products, where we are using libcurl to send messages (wav file) to Exchange Server. we are using libCurl version 7.30 right now. With this version, when we try to send message of size >= 5MB (to exchange 2010, SP2) we are getting timedout error. i explored few more versions of libcurl and analyze that timeout issue was not there till version 7.23, it got introduced after that. Latest libcurl version 7.38 also has the same issue.

We have configured libcurl timeout to '15 seconds' and while sending the data (of nearly 5MB) getting following error message:

"HTTP request failed with error: Timeout was reached -- Operation timed out after 15003 milliseconds with 0 bytes received".

Can anyone suggest, and provide some help.
