Are you suggesting that we should use the most recent version and current date in all man pages automatically?

We don't really have any particular set system for this since I doubt anyone cares much about this data, but it is mostly set to the version/date where it was most recently modified (but often forgotten to be updated).

If we update every release, then all files will differ between each release even if no other contents is modified. Not sure it is an issue or not...

Man pages still refer to ancient versions.
Maybe the versions and dates should be removed and sed at build-time.
