Sure, you did, but that doesn't really answer my question! A normal script won't just randomly pick a method anyway, it would most probably add other things as well that would go along with the method and as you're then doing request specific things...

So what do you say about the text from the libcurl manual, would something like that in the -X description have made anything different to you?
