I see the error if the directory/file that libcurl is trying to write doesn't exist (dir) or has permissions that prevent the user running libcurl (Apache User in my case) from writing to the file.

The trick is, you don't get the error until curl_exex() when you provide several files and/or handles, so you don't know which file is messed up.

You're still not explaining the issue with sufficient detail. What are you
doing? What error code do you get? What error message does libcurl state
_exactly_ ? What libcurl version are you using on which operating system?
