Howdy,
This problem seems to have appeared recently and only seems to appear when adding the -c option.
Here's my current curl information:
curl -V
curl 7.21.3-DEV (i686-pc-linux-gnu) libcurl/7.21.3-DEV OpenSSL/1.0.0 zlib/1.2.3 libidn/1.9

No error message appears:

Message:
-c takes another parameter (as file name to store cookies in) which you say
is '-m'. The following paremeter is then '10' which curl then considers to
be 0.0.0.10 which isn't a really good IP.
Possibly curl should reject such a "silly" IP address, but it is being
very liberal in what it accepts on purpose.
